What are the soils in Tokaj
?
|
|||
|
The great majority of the region's
soil is clay. However, situated on the southern most point of the region
and specifically on the Mount Tokaj, Hétszölö uniquely
benefits from the "loess" soil. The loess, by comparison to
clay, produces rounder and more perfumed wines and with lower levels of
acidity.
