VINIFICATION Traditionally vinified in stainless steel and wood vats. The malolactic fermentation is done in stainless steel vats. The cuvaison lasts 12 months in French oak barrels (with 10% of new oak). No filtering. 
   
MARKET NOTE La Dame de Montrose often represents outstanding value, example in the 2003 vintage. However, its relatively small production makes it harder to find.
