| MARKET NOTE |
While Chasse Spleen was easily classified as a Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel, the market considers it more as an equivalent 3rd or 4th Grand Cru Classé. Chasse Spleen is always properly priced and has outstanding regularity of quality. As such, it is one of the Médoc's soundest brands.
So ! Who really baptised so perfectly this estate "Chasse Spleen" (or chasse away the blues) ? Was it the English poet Lord Byron or the Frenchman Baudelaire ? The answer could be at the bottom of the bottle ... |
