VINEYARD A magnificent 15 hectares vineyard near the Ciron river and its resulting microclimate is rather favourable for the development of Botrytis. Clayey limestone covered by fine gravel and very permeable sand.

PRODUCTION 4000 cs 
   
VINIFICATION Harvested by successive pickings. The wine is aged during 18 months in oak barrels of which 25% are renewed each year. 
   
STYLE Thanks to the efforts which M. Jean and Pierre Guignard constantly exercise, the wines of Ch. de Rolland continue to rise in reputation among the best growths of Barsac. In the immense aging cellars, the most attentive care is taken to ensure, by traditional methods religiously handed down from generation to generation that these great liquoreux wines keep all the plenitude of their savour and their bouquet.
