VINIFICATION Traditional vinifications in thermoregulated stainless steel vats. Ageing for about 12 to 16 months in oak barrels.  
   
MARKET NOTE The property was acquiered by George Thienpont in 1946 and he subsequently replanted it with vines towards the end of the 1970's. Since 1983 his son, Nicolas, has been responsible for the winemaking. Chateau Puygueraud has since become the benchmark wine for the Cotes de Francs and a reference for renewal of this still little-known appellation.
