VINIFICATION Traditionnal vinification in stainless steel vats.
Ageing in french oak barrels (of which 30% are new) during 18 months. 
   
STYLE Expressive aromas of red fruits, spices and mellow oak on the nose. On the palate the wine is mouthfilling and silky with lingering tannins.
 
   
MARKET NOTE Pontet-Chappaz may not be as well-known as some of the more famous Margaux estates, but they have the reputation of taking extreme care with the fruit, resulting in high quality wines.
