| VINIFICATION |
In the vineyard, de-leafing and green harvesting is practised. The harvest is manual and yields never exceed 50 hl/ha. A selection process is carried-out prior to the de-stemming and crushing before being pumped into the stainless steel vats. Traditional vinified at 28 to 32 ° C. Two week fermentations precedes a maceration of approximately 15 days in vats. Then the wine is aged in barrels (of which 25% are new). Fining is done with egg-whites in barrel. Light filtration prior to bottling 16 moths after harvest. |

| STYLE |
We were particularly enthused by the immediate charm of this wine. Deep almost black in colour. Very rich and expressive nose of coffee and very ripe black fruits underlined with the distinctive vanillin-oak notes. To the palate, the wine is round, almost opulent, well balanced and harmonious. Excellent value ! Perfect for the early drinking. |
