VINEYARD Gravel-limestone soils with east exposure. 
VARIETALS 70% Merlot
30% Cabernet Franc 
   
PRODUCTION 1500 cs 
   
VINIFICATION Traditionally vinified. Fermented in stainless steel vats. After numerous racking, the wine is fined with egg whites.  
   
STYLE Pretty deep garnet-red colour. On the nose the wine is fruity with a subtle touch of vanilla. This great Lalande de Pomerol is toned by Merlot : Full bodied and meaty on the palate. Red fruits are dominating and give this wonderful wine an inimitable stamp. Long and elegant finish. Will age perfectly 5 to 7 years. To be served with red meats and strong cheese.
