STYLE The wine is distinguished by its elegant bouquet. On the palate, the wine is rich, harmonious, supple and fruity (slightly spicy). Silky and ripe tannins. Excellent breed and value. Ageing potential: 5-15 years.

MARKET NOTE Interestingly, Beaumont is managed and vinified exactly as a Cru Classé winery. Winery Manager Etienne Priou (who previously directed a St. Emilion Grand Cru Classé) is supervised by Philippe Blanc (of Ch. Beychevelle). The vineyard management, the selection process which is used and the use of new oak barrels will attest to the above.

However, in part because of its relatively large production and its fine "terroir" but (it is true) which does not have Cru Classé status, Beaumont is one of the least expensive "Cru Classé or assimilated" wines on the market.

Thus, Beaumont is considered by top wine critics and serious professionals as being one of the best values of the Médoc !!
