| MARKET NOTE |
This is simply the 3rd wine of the famous Ch. Lagrange, Saint Julien. Ch. Lagrange has, since its acquisition by Suntory Ltd in 1984, always proven to be amongst the most rigourous estates of the Médoc (note that its management has almost a "Léoville Las Cases - esque" type obsession with quality).
Now, they have decided to officially market the 3rd selections of their production. But this is not to mean that all the "waste" goes into "Les Cygnes". Lagrange is very (read VERY) susceptible of their image when it comes to signing their bottles.
Symbols of the majestic Château Lagrange (Grand Cru Classé of Saint Julien), freely wandering within its park, the SAWNS ("les Cygnes") here are emblems of absolute purity, nobility and elegance so representative of this special cuvée produced by this magnificent estate. |
