| MARKET NOTE |
GET IT ! FIND IT ! BUY IT !
An outstanding "little" jewel of an estate. Always bewildering to see this chateau and vineyard enclosed within the city's walls. Didier Furt is as charming as his wines, always ready to welcome the (seriously) impassioned few (no bus-loads of visitors please !). Les Carmes is reserved for those comfortable with exclusive producing estates AND, finally, at very reasonable prices (as it usually sells for a shade higher than a Médoc 3rd Growth). |
