| STYLE |
In my private tasting notes (vintage in, vintage out), the term "velvet" frequently re-appears. It is a sensation of extreme delicacy, of ultimate balance and airy softness.
Moreover, the interaction here attains the perfect tension between the soft, delicate and immediately pleasurable Margaux flavors and the Médoc/Cabernet's baffling capacity to provide vibrancy and sustained electrical vigor : the absolute definition of a great (and balanced) wine. |

| MARKET NOTE |
The above notes are rather reassuring but what is frightening is at what sacrifice ? 2/3 of the overall production is declassified into the 2nd or 3rd wines. |
